Re: MSFS2020 updates, where in the heck are they

Thanks Fred I finally found a post that said exactly what you described and got it done. What a frustrating mess and Bob, I have X Plane 11 but have the same problem setting up and remembering the keyboard/joystick controls for it and MSFS2020. With 10,000+ flight hours on FS2004/FS9 and FSX I just ...

MSFS2020 updates, where in the heck are they

I got my Acer Predator gaming computer back from repair that I bought to be able to fly MSFS2020 with all the bells and whistles and even though I have not figured out how to set up my joystick and cockpit where I can remember the dang keys I have been opening the program and doing the numerous upda...

Re: We need to think about MSFS2020

I guess we will see what we will see. You guys who know how to configure your keyboard and joystick to something you can remember with X Plane and enjoy the FMC, I can understand. For those of us who cannot seem to figure it out with X Plane, who do not want to fool with an FMC or when we can take o...

Re: FS 2020 to be released in August

Looks like there is a lot of conversation going on with the new program. Good to see something new getting interest when there are many other options that work but in my mind not as well. My biggest problem is that it seems like my new laptop runs hot when this program is open. It has an RTX2070 gra...

Re: Soooo, everyone's thoughts?--Initial MSFS2020

Sean that was why I took the dive and got a new laptop just for this. I was going to buy me another .45 but this won out. The FS is all that is on it right now and I had read somewhere they were talking maybe 300 GB when all was said and done. My desktop does not have that much room so I guess I wil...

Re: MSFS 2020 now available on steam

It is available for PC's as well thru the Microsoft X Box downloads. I spent the last two days downloading and am test flying now. Check the MSFS 2020 forum area for future updates from all of us doing thisl.

Re: Soooo, everyone's thoughts?--Initial MSFS2020

It took forever to download all of it but I got it finished last night. I did some test flights with one of the Diamond's around Charlotte to see how the scenery looks and I could navigate my way around using the highways I drive every day so that is good and the way the buildings are generated look...

Re: X Plane 11 and FMC's

Kim you guys did a great job with our fleet of free and payware aircraft which is one of the big benefits I tell my friends we have access to when joining us but it goes back to simplicity for me. With the GPS from point to point flying offline, I do not worry about updated STAR's SID's and any of t...

Re: X Plane 11 and FMC's

Mark I agree that for real world pilots who like my friend Hal likes to flip every switch on the C-130 aircraft he has and for those who like to spend 20 minutes looking at the metar, selecting VOR waypoints and other things I used to do flying online it is an enjoyable thing but, I like to get in m...
