Re: Coordinated Turn realism
My MD-11 Fed Ex buddies here in Memphis rarely use rudder pedals in flight. I learned this some time back when I was lucky enough to fly the MD-11 full motion sims here at Fed Ex. In fact use of them can sometimes induce a dutch roll tendency. The yaw dampers do the work for the rudder pedals. That ...

Re: FS9 startup issue
Phil, I can only say that the same thing happened to me on WNXP machine I was using 6 years ago. I never could get it going but I was going to up grade anyway so it became moot. Mine was rather unstable prior to the final shut down. The reinstall on this WN7 machine solved it but some one here may h...

Re: Microsoft Support for Windows 7
Ah, good news, thanks Mark. I was able to operate for quite some time on my old computer with WNXP using FS9 in the old days. Eventually FS9 just got too buggy with the old XP but it took a while.

Re: Vatsim New Audio Destroyed My Flying
As posted here in a few different areas FS9 works for the time being on Vatsim. Eventually Swift will be something I will be considering also. I am surprised you have not seen the discussions already addressing this that have been posted on our forum. Also If you sign your post we will know who you ...

Re: Simulator Installs Under Windows 10
Yes, I installed FS9 in the default file originally with Windows7 and it was quite quirky, sometimes quitting on me. When it comes time for my next platform installation I will be exploring the separate solid state drive.

Re: Flight Simulator "DEFAULT" Air Traffic Control
PilotEdge is supposedly the most realistic ATC experience as the controllers are compensated and quite serious about the job. I have no experience using this service because I like Vatsim with or without controllers on line. Also, one must pay to use PilotEdge, nothing exorbitant but still there is ...
