WestWind Virtual Airlines

I am getting my FS9 back up and running because I want to use a sextant for overwater flights and it is the only sim I currently own with a working sextant gauge.

Anyway, going through some of the FS9 scenery files last night I came across and installed this splash file created by WWA843 Ed Bleck, ret. How cool! It makes me think we could make a WWA splash page for XP-11. I am not sure about other sims because I don't own them.

We need more of everything for X-Plane. All the hubs have screen shots for FS-9 and FSX but nothing for X-Plane. Even downloading X-Plane scenery requires scrolling through a whole string of sim files that don't exist (FS_SE, Dovetail FSW, X-Plane 8 and Earlier) before you get to X-Plane 11. On that topic, why not have a direct link to each Sim (FS9, FSX, X-PLane 11) with the appropriate file links below each instead of all the scrolling?

In re a splash screen, even modifying the web site banner above into an XP splash screen would be cool.

In re the scrolling, I think this may help you...

In the top right of both the scenery and fleet lists there is a search window. Just type in “plane” and it will limit results to aircraft or scenery that have Xplane 10 and Xplane11 downloads.

And on each scenery page there are links to the top of each section at the very top of the page

a lot of the "splash screens" had to be taken down due to copyright claims and Westwind is not in a position to take on those trolls.
