The X-Plane.org forum download section has a superbly done Fairchild Metroliner III for free. Since we have a Metroliner in our fleet, picking this one up is a no-brainer. I haven't had a chance to fly it yet, but it has 51 reviews with 5-1/2 star ratings. Here is the link:

Thanks, Bob.
This one was just posted Monday, January 17, 2022, so I am surprised it has that many good reviews already. I guess I need to give this bird a workout next week.

Re: Free Metroliner III for X-Plane 11
An update (Version 1.1.0) was just released for this aircraft. Here is the link: https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/f ... c-package/
I have made a few flights with this aircraft. It is really nice, especially when you consider it is free. I'm having some issues with the autopilot tracking the GPS route, but most likely because I have forgotten how to use the basic GPS. I have been flying aircraft with FMS for too long.

The update should help a bit. also, make sure VLOC is not displayed on the GPS if it is pushing the soft key below the VLOC label.BobSturm wrote: ↑Thu Feb 03, 2022 2:34 pm I have made a few flights with this aircraft.
