Re: Need Help With P3D v5!

I know it's been 10 days since I was last on here, I've been busy selling my house and moving. Now that I'm finally getting somewhat settled in to my new digs, I was able to address the issue at hand. Sean, thanks again for the link, now I know where to look if/when that happens again. For now, reve...

Re: Need Help With P3D v5!

Thank you Mark and Sean.

I had my suspicions about the NVIDIA drivers, I just didn’t know how to revert back to the old drivers. Sean, thanks for the link, I’ll give it a try in the morning.

I’ll let you know how things went after I revert back.

Need Help With P3D v5!

Esteemed colleagues, Last August I finally made the switch to P3D v5.1, with a clean install on a new custom machine. It is my understanding that I have the latest Hotfix and version of P3D, and it has been running swimmingly up until the past week. When I load P3D, the splash screen appears, then l...

Re: FS 2020 to be released in August

I agree with Sean completely. I suppose time will tell with the FS2020 release. Either way, flight simulation sure has come a long way from when I first started on Bruce Artwick's v.2 on my C64 (I just dated myself, didn't I?) I've had almost every release since then, and watched the hobby grow to w...

Re: FS 2020 to be released in August

If I recall correctly, I believe the aircraft for FSX came out fairly quickly, as the port over from FS9 to FSX was fairly straightforward. I can't speak much about the scenery, as I never used any. But that was with a different developer, so this will likely be different and take some time once the...

Re: FS 2020 to be released in August

I was sorely disappointed hearing about Denver being included in the premium deluxe version. Again, mixed feelings. Denver is my hub, both virtually and in real life, and it would be nice to have a good, true to life rendition, but the $120 USD price tag kinda gives me reason to pause...

Re: FS 2020 to be released in August

I have mixed feelings about it. I just watched a handful of videos about the release, and to be fair it does look intriguing. I’ve about reached my wit’s end with FSX, and the same goes for my old Windows 7 i5-2500K machine. I’m anxiously awaiting my new sim rig being built right now, and my plan wa...
