Re: Microsoft to release a new Flight Simulator
All I can say is that this appears to have been a lesson learned the hard way for Microsoft. Their getting out of the flight
sim business must have really hurt them. It is interesting, but let see if the learned anything in this process. There are
allot of details that are left out there in the wood pile.

Youtube has several commentaries with with video trailer of the new Microsoft Flight Simulator. From the looks of the graphics in the trailer, it will need a super-computer to run it. However, I think I can safely say that I am done with Microsoft forever.

Re: Microsoft to release a new Flight Simulator
My take on the new MS2020?
It is not being developed by microsoft, but rather a French group along with modified codes from FSX.
It is going to be a subscription via a monthly fee.
3 levels of sim, Offline, Online and online with the supergraphics. This means to me being online to microsoft server the entire flight and it would seem to me if you will not need a supercomputer, then you and everyone else will be flying inside mocrosofts server (JUST A GUESS)
All I can say is when I got a copy of FSX GOLD, I was disappointed by everything looking like a tan desert. Then lets not forget the hype over P3d, sure it was better than FSX but..........
And then there was MS Flight.LOL.
I hope this is something NICE, I hope if there is a subscription fee per month it is low, and I hope the flight characteristics finally are real.
I am betting though that microsoft is looking to rake in fortune, I mean they flew Simmers from around the globe to Seattle for this look see.
Time will tell.
