Finally made the move to FS 2020 "almost", New Computer ASUS ROG G16CH (202yy4) Gaming Desktop PC, Intel® Core™ i7-14700F, NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4060Ti Dual, 1TB PCIe® Gen4 SSD, 32GB DDR5 RAM, Windows 11, G16CHR-AS766Ti. Downloaded MSFS 2020 Deluxe from the Microsoft Store and installed. Spent about a hour setting up controls and made a couple of test flights in the Cessna 152. Shut down the sim and turned off the computer and went to bed. The next morning turned on the computer and tried to fire up the sim, it got to the New Activities splash screen and CTD. Tried several times and same thing happened. Uninstalled and tried to reinstall the sim, could not get it to complete the installation and launch the sim. Every time I tried to launch the sim it would get to the New Activities splash screen and CTD. Inital installation was done in the default location on the C: drive.
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Moving up from FSX to FS 2020
There is a report that the new Nvidia app caused this after updating the drivers. The solution appears to uninstall the app but leave the Nvidia control panel installed.

Also, note I do not use the Game Ready drivers. I use the Nvidia Studio drivers. I have not launched MSFS2020 since the last driver update guess I need to see if everything is ok.

Updated graphics card drivers and everything is running now. Spent the day assigning controls, views, and misc. Flew some test flights between KMOR and KTYS, so far so good!
