Active Sky for X-Plane 12 Open Beta

Post by BobSturm »

Open Beta Now Available
ASXP12 is offered in an early OPEN BETA version for all ASXP license holders. You’re now able to download and install ASXP12 and use your existing ASXP license key and online account user ID/password. https://hifisimtech.com/downloads/

ASXP12 is also a upgrade for ASPX and is offered for free to current ASXP licensed users.
I downloaded the beta version for testing. I have used Active Sky for many years. It is the best, in my opinion.

P.S. we need X-Plane 12 included in the title of this forum.

Although I have been enjoying the real-world weather in X-Plane 12, I also downloaded the beta version as I used Active Sky XP exclusively for XP11 weather. I will let you know what I think after a few tests.

Here is a link to a good YouTube video by Q8 Pilot comparing XP12 default weather to Active Sky 12 weather: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHzIurVGOU4
Q8 Pilot is my #1 go to whenever I am considering a particular new add on.
